We arrived in Brookhaven Mississippi a little exhausted with a car that decided to die the moment we rolled into the parking lot. Pastor Franklin and the church family welcomed us with snacks, a jump start for the car, and an air conditioned apartment all to ourselves. The blessings continued as cornbread and banana bread came knocking at our door. Thank you Janice and June! Speaking of the need for jump starts, Christ Church School willingly shared their advise and a few tools with the Maasai (Masai) regarding the essentials for building and running a school. It was incredibly beneficial to drop in on each classroom (in the middle of the school day).
