North Douglas Church | Victoria, BC, Canada

Last night, we finally got to perform for the church that has been so gracious in letting us stay in their building, North Douglas Church. The people here have been such a blessing to us. Just being able to stay in one location for so long allows us to get/stay organized, rest and relax.

The performance itself went very well. And, at the end, the audience gathered around the choir, praying for their family and friends back home  and the choir competition in Tanzania that these 6 members are missing.

Afterwards, we were able to talk to many people and enjoy refreshments. Here, we learned that Yona does not like chocolate chips, as he was picking them all out of the muffin that he had. Petro also discovered the youth playing Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart. The youth invited him to join the game. Gamecube is definitely a learned skill, and Petro and Mathayo are now trying to improve their gaming skills.

A HUGE THANK YOU GOES OUT TO NORTH DOUGLAS CHURCH! Our stay in Victoria has been so wonderful thanks to you! It was a pleasure to perform for you!
