October 9th, we had the privilege of spending a Sunday (Canadian) Thanksgiving with Eastside Vineyard Church. Some friends from around the area were able to come see us, including the Cook family. And many of the church members also knew our friends David and Judy Owens from Arusha Vineyard Church in TZ.

It was a fun crowd and agreat service full of thanksgiving wishes. Yona got completely fired up and quite the alter call.

During the offering, the youth presented their offering to Mathayo. They had been collecting coins for a while, specifically for the En-kata project. Such a sweet moment.

Eva & Nembu taught Cynthia Cook how to dance. They all thought she was the best of all the wazungu to try.

After the service, the church had a full Thanksgiving dinner, at which the Maasai ate plenty of “big chicken.” Thank you Eastside Vineyard!!!
