Cranbrook Alliance Church | Cranbrook, BC

In Cranbrook, we got a few opportunities to share with the community and visit some more schools. First was College of the Rockies, where Jeremy’s dad, Sig, once taught physics.

Then, we got to visit a school with a much younger crowd, an elementary school.

These students were very inquisitive and sat in awe of the Maasai. One student raised his hand to declare that “they’re all my favorite!”

In the evening, we were at Cranbrook Alliance Church. Before performing, the church served us a dinner that the Maasai declared was “really beef.” Who knew that of all the “beef” that we’d been serving them wasn’t real, but beef dip sandwiches are? We learn new things with them everyday.

As we got ready to perform, we also got to meet a special girl named Kendra. Her 12th birthday would be the following Monday and at her birthday party, she had asked all of her friends to bring money for her to donate to En-kata instead of presents. WOW! If only all of us could be that selfless.

Thank you Cranbrook for all of your friendships and support! You will continue to be a special place for us!
