Mac Attack

Chris and Chrissie Cramp own a number of McDonalds franchises around Lafayette, Louisiana, and treated us to lunch at one of their restaurants on Monday.

After lunch, the choir had their photos snapped with all the McDonalds staff behind the counter, and sang an impromptu number, to the delight of not only the staff, but all the other patrons of the restaurant, and a couple of vehicles passing by outside, who came in to find out what was going on!

Chris gave the Maasai a tour of the kitchen. In the walk-in freezer the men burst into a very animated discussion over the frigid temperatures while the ladies screamed, grabbed each other, and ran back out the door!

The Cramps also showed up for dinner at Pastor Terrell’s house that evening. Last year, their fourth-grade daughter ran a lemonade stand and donated all the proceeds to the En-kata School in Maasailand. The choir said “thank you” by gathering around and giving one very deserving little girl her own exclusive Maasai concert.
