After a much needed day of rest on Monday in Calgary, we began hitting the road again and made our way to Swift Current. And, we had a surprise visit from a friend too! It’s always surprising for us American volunteers when we’re in Canada and a person walks up to us saying, “I sure know who you are, but I bet you don’t know who I am.” More of Jeremy and Christine’s family, Nancy, had arrived. Shelley and Amanda had spent an entire summer in Tanzania with Nancy’s daughter and now we were all finally in the same room. What a joy!
